As a successful Entrepreneur for twenty one long years I have gone through it all the ups, and downs. Through these experiences my final results are pleasing to me. It was no easy road to travel, but I decided to stick it out as being self-employed was very important to me. I figured I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life working for someone else not that I couldn’t take orders from someone else it just wasn’t where I wanted to be. I felt as though I would be settling.

Through this journey I found that you meet a lot of different people some who appeared positive, and some who appeared negative toward what I was trying to accomplish. I thrive on positive energy so having negative people around me well lets just say that I disregarded them rather quickly from my life. It is important that you never give up on your dreams as they are what you make of them, and never allow negative energy to influence your decision.

One thing I did learn rather quickly is that through it all I wanted to be able to provide information to others who set out to take on the Entrepreneur role. Providing them access to resources that would be helpful in making a decision regarding product verses providing a service. For those of you who are wondering I chose to deal with products generally because it was less cost for me given that I had very little cash to begin with.

I soon realized that when comparing the two offering products would be very advantageous, and easy on the pocket if you know what I mean. If I would have had just a little guidance, or should I say insight on some great products or perhaps some one to just stir me in the right direction achieving what I have accomplished today wouldn’t have been such a long journey.

Right now there are so many opportunities out there that you can have a business in from gadgets to even women’s feminine napkins. There are all sorts of things that you can find your passion with. If I had to tell you anything it is to find your passion in the business that you are going to be married to for your financial freedom.

Learning to have a passion for being an Entrepreneur is not the only thing to consider. It is important that you know the compensation plan. You don’t want to waste your time out there, because your time is very valuable. Next get to know the company, and research the companies financial stability.

There is nothing worse than getting involved with a company who later goes out of business in a few short months! After you have put your heart and soul into their products. If I had a dollar for every company that I have involved myself with in the beginning I would be rich, probably on the beach in Tahiti drinking pina colada’s!!!

So I quickly learned that there were some things I should have known when trying to select a business opportunity. Through this blog I want to help others learn from my mistakes, give good quality advice, and maybe give you a blue print for success.
